When putting together outfits for summer in a warm city, I try to stick to pieces I know I feel my best in
When the warm weather finally arrives in the UK, we can be thrown with how to dress; I’ve left the house on hot and sticky days in the past wearing feminine dresses and sandals and although functional, I’ve not felt myself style-wise. My outfits lacked edge and irony.
Mixing my two favourite textures, denim and leather and adding a low heeled sandal. Toteme’s leather pieces are always the strongest in their collection, and this hourglass, cinched waist blazer is no exception. I’ve teamed with my Agolde baggy jeans and Aeyde low heeled sandals, plus the dreamiest bag for summer from Bode. I’ll also add the jacket over summer dresses, with tailored linen trousers and baggy shorts.
This is my favourite outfit combination for summer. A beige midi skirt + oversized sheer shirt. Super simple but chic. The skirt is from Sasuphi, a collection of beautiful silk, cashmere and wool pieces. Again, I’ve added my Aeyde sandals, an easy-to-slip-on style, and the Bode bag to complete the summer in-the-city vibe.
A two-tone dress is a trend I can get on board with. Simple yet impactful. Esse Studios has the best edit of two-tone maxi dresses, choose from a Tee, Strapless or Halterneck style. I’ve teamed with my Ancient Greek Charys Sandals, a style I’ve worn for the past two summer. A comfy yet cool option to team with dresses, tailoring or denim.
