In Partnership with NET-A-PORTER
My wardrobe is built on staples with a twist. Basics, but never boring.
I’ve been religiously checking NET-A-PORTER New In and adding pieces to my wishlist while carefully curating my new-season wardrobe.
It’s all about finding those core pieces that will work for me and my lifestyle that I won’t tire of. Making sure the shape, fabric or design has something a little different. Classics, but with a twist.
I like to be able to make the same pair of jeans work, whether I’m going for a casual brunch or heading out to dinner. Trousers that look just as good with trainers and an oversized knit as they do with heels and a blazer. Building a cohesive wardrobe is super important to me and allows me to get the most wear out of my clothes, but this means I have to be considered with what I buy.
So far this season, Dries Van Noten retro sneakers and a Maria McManus jacket have been purchased. Two excellent additions I know I’ll get the wear out of.
“This season is all about the retro sneaker, I love the simple yet sleek design that give my looks a vintage feel, I’ll be styling my Dries Van Noten low tops with smart trousers and casual tracksuits this spring”
A classic jacket is a cool alternative to a blazer and jeans look. Maria McManus’s Sequin-Embellished Tweed Jacket is something you’ll keep and love forever. Pair it with jeans or tailored trousers and a white Tee to add interest.
