Knitwear Mood

Every year I like to take a look at my knitwear and assess if I have all the styles I need to see me though the season. I like to have a variation of shapes, colours and textures for every look.

Whether I’m planning my outfit around a chunky knit, layering a crew neck over a tee or teaming two knits together – I’ve worked out the styles I need to create different looks for every occasion.

1. The Chunky Knit, the one you can team with jeans and ballet pumps. No coat needed.
2. The V-Neck Knit, the one you wear when you want to look a little smarter, layer over a tee or lace bra, dress up or down
3. The Crew Neck, the one you reach for every day, one in all the neutral colours
4. The Fine Knit, the chic one you team with denim diamond bracelets
5. The Red Knit, the one you reach for when you want a pop of colour
6. The Statement, the one with an interesting neck detail, texture or pattern

Don’t just think of a knit to wear, think of it as a styling tool. Play with colours, textures and layering to create interest.
