In My Hiking Era

Stylish and practical hiking essentials

Now that the weather has cooled down, I’m keen to get my steps in after it feeling impossible during the recent heatwaves in London.

I’ve been researching the best hiking spots near London – Box Hill and the Seven Sisters routes are at the top of my list. Richmond Park is another favourite walking spot of mine too. It takes around 2 hours to do a lap of the park or you can leave the car at one of the gates and walk into Richmond along the river for breakfast.

With all of these hikes planned, I need to make sure my outfits are practical and of course, stylish. Here’s a round up of my hiking essentials.

The Hiking Essentials

We’re planning on going early in the morning so layers are going to be essential – I love the long sleeve Weekday Tees, plus good Footwear (make sure to break in your hiking boots), SPF, Lipbalm, Water (and snacks).

Pops of green and red for layering plus accessories to add interest, as most of the gym wear I own is black.

This dry weather won’t last so practical jackets to layer, bags for the essentials and footwear for all terrains is a must.
