Chanel, Quarter-Zips, Funnel-Necks and Faux Fur
A mix of what’s inspiring me this month – Chanel’s simple yet effective styling. Long faux fur coats and statement outerwear. Silk Kimonos.
The Chanel Métiers d’art 2026 collection gave so much inspiration from the very first look. I loved the nod to Diana Vreeland in particular, the all black look broken up with a red knit tied at the waist with statement pearls.
The quarter zip is having a moment thanks to this look
A long faux fur. My uniform of jeans, boots and a cashmere is instantly elevated by a good coat.
The new way to wear your winter coat (thanks to Phoebe Philo), taking something classic that we wear every year and tweaking a small element to make it feel fresh and exciting. Also works on a leather jacket too. It’s all about the high-neck this season.
To add a bit of interest to my simple wardrobe, I love Zara’s collection of embroidered kimonos. Taking notes from the Olsen’s and Amber Valletta’s 90s look.
