The Office Mood

If you work a 9-5 in an office, you may be in need of some workwear outfit inspiration. Having the right pieces to create endless outfits that can be put together quickly and easily is super important when creating your work wardrobe.

Curating a workwear edit that doesn’t stray too far from your usual style but feels elevated enough for your day-to-day will ensure you don’t get bored with your options. Sticking to a colour palette will help create multiple looks, with pops of colour to add interest.

How to curate an office-appropriate yet stylish work wardrobe

2. Mixing textures like leather, silk + knitwear will keep your look elevated + add interest
3. Play with proportions to keep your office look modern, like an oversized shirt or blazer with tailored trousers
4.  Stick to a muted colour palette + add pops of print or colour with your accessories so you can wear things repeatedly without looking like you’re wearing the same outfit
5. Layer- double up your knitwear, layer a tee under a shirt, use socks as an understated fashion statement
6. Think about the commute, footwear to navigate the tube, a bag big enough for all the essentials + a laptop, + don’t forget your brolly. 
7. Plan ahead. Having an idea of what you’re going to wear (remember to check the weather) or, even better, pulling out the exact outfit the night before will save you so much time and stress in the morning.
