An edit of pieces to mix and match to create endless outfit ideas for the office
If you work a 9-5 in an office, you may be in need of some workwear outfit inspiration. Having the right pieces to create endless outfits that can be put together quickly and easily is super important when creating your work wardrobe.
Curating a workwear edit that doesn’t stray too far from your usual style but feels elevated enough for your day-to-day will ensure you don’t get bored with your options. Mixing textures and proportions is something I think is super important to keep your office look interesting- pairing leather and silks with knitwear, oversized blazers and shirts with tailoring. Sticking to a colour palette will help create multiple looks, with pops of colour to add interest.
If you have the right pieces to hand, you’ll be able to dress up or down your look depending on your day. Important meeting? Tailored trousers and a silk shirt. A day at your desk being productive? The same trousers with a tee and knit and a pair of Adidas Spezials.
“Feeling your best often goes hand in hand with performing your best”
Having clothing care products to hand can help keep your work wardrobe wrinkle-free and looking its best. I’m a big fan of Steamery—my free-standing steamer gets used daily in my house, and the hand-held one is super quick and convenient. Fabric shavers are great for removing pills from your knits or coats, and giving your outfit a quick once-over with a clothes brush can help you look pulled together and presentable, ready for your day.
