What to wear in NYC in the summer but still look chic in the heat!
Keep it simple and choose breathable fabrics. A cotton black or white dress, a linen shorts and shirt set, a silk slip dress and an oversized shirt are my 3 go-to looks for summer in the city.
How do I keep it more city, less beach?
It’s all in how you style. I’d wear this Deiji Studios set to the beach over swimwear, but I could also wear it in the city on a super hot day.
I’d go for a structured leather bag and avoid a basket bag. A chunkier sandal over flip-flops, and add statement jewellery like a gold necklace.
Pieces you wouldn’t typically wear to the beach to create balance in your outfit.
