Last October, I headed to LA for the month, rented an Airbnb in the Hollywood Hills, and fully embraced endless sunshine, sunrise hikes, and daily smoothies. It was magic.
Before going, I tapped into my network of LA insiders to find out the coolest spots, from the best burgers in town to cocktails with sweeping views of the city, and they didn’t disappoint with their recommendations.
I loved LA style, the warm weather meant I could do bare legs and knitwear, jeans and t-shirts, or dresses and loafers. I didn’t do much shopping but stocked up on tees from Re/Done and knits from Anine Bing who both have stores on Melrose (Toteme has since opened in the area). I wore a lot of Varley and Alo for hikes, Reformation dresses for dinner and WNU boxer shorts for everyday.
